I am very lucky to have had Susan Kilman teach English to two of my children. I have two very different boys with very different learning styles. My son, Daniel, is a freshman at George Washington University and he often says that thanks to Mrs. Kilman, he can write a five paragraph persuasive essay on any subject. When he has a writing assignment, he does not "freak out", but relies on the tools that Mrs. Kilman instilled in him ( back in 8th grade) to tackle the assignment.
